Well the beginning of 2011 has brought some major changes in our lives..
My Golden Birthday was Jan 28th. Gramma passed Feb 9th. Driving home the next week from her memorial Jake got a call from the St Charles Police Department offering him a job. He passed all the conditional offer tests and his first day with the department was April 4th. He was also sworn in as a Police Officer that night. Jakes 29th Birthday was the next day. Today, April 8th I am on a mission to get everything Jake needs to bring with him when leaves for PTI the 10th, for 12 weeks. Oh on top of all that we looked at houses the 31st and 1st and put an offer on one the 1st.
So within just a few months we got older, one of the most important people in my life died, Jake got his dream career, and we started the process of being first time home buyers.
I am mentally drained..and slowly becoming physically drained.
