were alive!

Yes we survived..barely..

tired..sore..tired

We moved allll night thurs and all day friday (everyone helping us were much appreciated!)..we both took monday off which helped a lot and we tried getting as much done as possible till we had to go back to work yesterday.

Everything is pretty much in order, just a few odds things laying around that im trying to find homes for..been cleaning floors since they were disgusting from everyone walking with their shoes on carrying boxes in (luckily the only place with carpet is the living room and its being replaced soon!)..were still exhausted and pretty much cant function unless we take many breaks in between working..luckily i had off today to get a bunch of stuff done, back to work tomorrow and friday though..uhg..i need a week of bed rest!

MOVING DAY...err NIGHT!

Tonight were moving..

Jake works till 5 and luckily im off work today!  Went over and unpacked a bunch of kitchen crap today..ran to walmart..ran to target..and now im home, or should i say im at the old home?  It really hasnt hit me that were moving yet..im sure it will tomorrow when im laying in my bed in a new place wondering where the f am i when i wake up in the middle of the night...till then..not so much..

im excited but at the same time im over it..its not 'my' place..yeah yeah..blah blah..its another rental and im reallllllyyyy sick of renting (like sick enough that i would cut off one of my arms to buy a place) but im looking on the bright side..its bigger..better (and more expensive) and its something we can stay in till we FINALLLLYY find a place to buy (which hopefully wont be long)..ill keep myself busy till we find OUR home by decorating our temporary home for a few months im sure!

so now im getting last things together to bring to the new place in a few hours..we have bubba and his friend jake helping jake and i tonight, so im hoping we get a lot done tonight so tomorrow wont be such of a pain (and because tomorrow AM will be hotter than tonights PM!)  Its kinda nice having a few days to move rather than ONE day like weve always have..which always = the last FOUR TIMES weve moved..today is our FIFTH! (oh and weve been married since oct 05..soo 5.5 years..and 5 moves??? shoot me...)

so ill end with..

dear moving gods..let this move be swift and not full of sweat and wanting to shoot myself and everyone around me..including willis and squibby!

im tired...and a little overwhelmed..which is a bad concoction..

Im thinking after this i neeeeed a vacation..LIKE LONDON (only one can dream)..or something more affordable..galena? whos with me? MA?!

i made new friends...

...and they are butterflies!  The past few days everytime i go outside ive noticed a 2 small (with a pretty bright orange and white stripe on their wings - much prettier in person than in the pics too) butterflies and today when i took willis out they were flying around us like crazy!  I actually took the dog in a ran and got my camera to take pics - i tried to get the both of them flying around me but that shot it pretty much impossible.  One even landed on my arm!  So needless to say..i have new friends..and they are wayyy better than people!  So now i want a butterfly feeder (if there is such thing)!  I tried snapping a pic while they had their wings open but they kept shutting them...

is it time yet?!

Annnddd packing...and packing...we can barely walk around let alone find a place to sit!  2 more weeks of living like were in hell and then were outta here!

Willis has such a hard life...

my house is in shambles!

Well..its ours!  And im ready to move n o w!  

I have pretty much everything packed..no really..everything..so its pretty boring around here since i have no decorations to rearrange or ask my husband if he likes my bird cage or my wood candles better..ha!  But at least I got a new curling iron to mess with..thats as fun as it gets around here!  

Hmmm what else..i found a piano bench on the bottom of a pile of crap in my parents basement that im going to put in my new foyer!  Gonna stain it a darker color..almost black..so it goes with my huge horse photo i have which is in a black frame.

June 25th cant come soon enough! Usually I never want time to fly by..but this month could go a little faster than usual!  Were planning on getting the keys a few days before we move so hopefully we can get some boxes moved in before the big day..well..he can move boxes..ill decorate!
