Were officially tennis pros! Ok, maybe I shouldn't go that far...Jake and I thought it would be a fun time to get some tennis rackets and go use the tennis court that's been behind our house for a year now..that we've never used! We haven't played in...years..and years..and we actually didn't suck as bad as I thought we would..even better, maybe Ill loose some weight in the process which couldn't hurt a fat girl!

So...i want one of these..so instead of buying one for like 20 bucks (forever21 has them for really cheap but of course they are o u t) im going to make one! I was at hobby lobby today and saw like the EXACT same feathers in this picture..already glued on a pad so basically just needs to be glued onto a headband..and it was like 2 bucks, and with a 40% off coupon..who can beat it? Just need to get some good glue too..already have a headband! I want a peacock one too so ill start looking around...

UPDATE - I made one! And it looks exactly like it and only cost like 4 bucks..2 for the feather pad and 2 for some glue..now when do i wear it? ha..

projects projects

Well I'm back to doing another home project..my dresser! (pics soon to come)
After doing my coffee table and tv stand I was ready for a break from painting big pieces..so I stuck to frames and other little things. Well I was getting tired of looking at my dresser with half the hardware holes filled in and missing hardware so I just finished filling all the holes and hope to start painting soon! I want to get cup pulls for the hardware like these used in this kitchen:I'm pretty much obsessed with them..that and library card pulls..i think i might start using these pulls on EVERYTHING in my house..cant wait!

Well I still have a working computer...and I have only ONE more day of class left this semester! Still looking for a job and STILLLLL want to to London..nothing new.

I hope we get some storms..if it does I'm going to run outside in the rain...I need it...

Well I've been trying to apply for as many jobs as I can lately so hopefully one of them works out very soon or I might have to sell my cat for money! (yeah right!) Found out a few other towns around here are taking applications for police officers so Jake has a few more to fill out..the more the better since the hiring process takes fooorrreever!
On an equally bad note..I'm sooo tired of my biology lab class. My instructor sucks and I think it is impossible to listen to a two hour lecture after racking my brain for an hour trying to guess which answer is correct on a test. I actually skipped the lab today, my brain shut off and I had a bad headache..so I went home and cleaned and applied for more jobs...oh what fun.
Oh and on and even worse note one of my friends is having a really rough time right now..and since we live on opposite sides of the country I feel like I can't really do anything to help him, except be by the phone if he ever needs someone to listen.

Right, so if I could get a break here soon that would be great..

Which happened to be a really good idea for the large frame i found at my sisters while hitting up a few garage sales last weekend! I guess i should have taken a 'before' picture..it was kind of an old white with gold dusting..not my style but i knew that with a fresh coat of white paint and some cork board i could make it cute!

So heres my frame....
My camera obviously sucks..tried to take a pic of the detail on the frame..if you click on the pics youll see a larger and more in focus picture! And im still in looking for photos to tack up in between taking breaks from doing a lab write up!

yes...i FINALLLLLYYY have my laptop back..and it only took a little over a month!! This time they replaced the motherboard..so well see if it works!

Well im still out of a laptop..long story short..its still not fixed..and its the stupid speakers!! They replaced them and everything. So needless to say..im pissed! I about killed whoever i last talked to at best buy since it was my THIRD time going in yesterday..i was like give me my money back or give me a new comp...this is such a waste of time...so i will no longer talk about how pissed i am!

so basically thats why i havent been on much..i get on jakes comp for homework and random browsing and then im off...i dont have any of my stuff/bookmarks/passwords/blah blah on this comp so i basically just do the minimun and get off!

lets hope i get my computer back in less than two weeks (yes it took two weeks for them to NOT fix my speakers) so i can stop missing checking my email whenever i want, posting pictures, and checking the weather 24/7 (which drives jake nuts)! TATA!

ps i hate my bio lab class and i cant wait for it to be over and oh i have no job to top off this wonderful start of july...i got a call saying im not on julys schedule..maybe aug..but dont hold your breath...london please?
