#1 - Since April 05 we have lived in 4 places going on 5!

one steal and a score!

went to the parents yesterday and ran to some antique stores with mom..i basically STOLE a laundry cart..its one of those vintage pull laundry carts, blue wheels and even the original tag on it!  Guess how much???

FOUR dollars!!!  It was $5 and since im cheap i asked if hed take $4, and it was a STEAL!!  Left it at the parents because i didnt have room in my car to bring it home..so this week ill be bringin that puppy back with me to sit in my ever shrinking home! 

Today - Jake and I thought it would be good to go shopping for whatever we wanted..of course i wanted more crap for the house..and him...he wanted fans for his computer!  So about 100 bucks later he got some fans and i got my end/side table at homegoods i eyed the other day.  Which again..since im a cheap ass...i asked if they would take off some $$ due to a scratch on the top (that i didnt care about because it was actually really small and i was gonna paint right over it!) so i got 10% off thanks to my cheap self!  SCORE!!!  

Ill put pictures up soon..i have no idea where im putting this crap since really, i have no room (but yes, will still continue to buy stuff!) and were moving at the end of june (to where? i have no idea yet!)

Off to put the next coat of paint on my new pedestal side table!

shop till i drop

i looooove being off of work..my husband needs to fall into a million dollars so i never have to work again..and then i could just volunteer my time! HAA  actually speaking of volunteering..Jake and I are going to try and set up a date to start going here - http://www.readysetride.org/ - Ive been wanting to go for like a year now and when i mentioned it to him he really wanted to go too!  So one of these Sundays were gonna go!  I miss being around horses..and helping kids with disabilities would be great to do (horses and kids..that i can handle..idiot adults..not so much!)

wellll back to the topic on hand..shopping - i found and AWESOME pedestal table with chairs on craigs list..old with ornate detail..just what i like, old, crappy, vintage, dirty = AWESOME! !  so well see if they still have it or if some random like me already realized what a good steal it was (50 bucks for everything!) and snatched it up!  Oh and speaking of (again) a steal..weve been bitter ever since that lady that 'sold' us the lazyboy chair and then turned around and sold it to someone else before we could get to it...well we got another chair from jakes coworker for 50 bucks..its not as awesome as the one we SHOULD HAVE gotten but oh well..it works..the main thing i dont like about it is that its black..but im thinking about spending just as much as we spent on the chair and get a slip cover for it...who knows..all i know is we have too much shit in this now tiny townhouse!  Since were moving in June (another thing im still bitter about..renting again and not buying..im almost positive were going to regret not buying NOW) im trying to find the BIGGEST place that i can get for the money we want to spend..and i think ive found one..just hoping they contact me back saying its still available!!

ok im done rambling now..im off to shop...till i drop (yeah right!)!  Well i am going to hit up homegoods so you never know!!!

SOOOO glad its friday..if today was thursday and tomorrow was friday i would not be able to survive tomorrow..i would have to call in sick or something..im tired..im emotional..and im tired...
Going to get my hair did at rachs tomorrow..mom is there too..so i think if its nice out were just gonna try to be outside a lot..maybe hit up some garage sales?!!!

its wonderful hearing you can afford as much as you thought you could on a mortgage..and were even close to having enough for a down payment..oh but add on the million dollars for closing costs and all the extra OTHER fees ANNNNDDDDD then youre shot back down to being a loser again..

im pretty sure well never get exactly what we want...ever...

i love renting..i love wasting my money, i love spending as much on rent as i could with a mortgage, i love having no yard and no garage, i love walking my dog e v e r y day - rain, snow, or shine..i love not being able to paint walls and fully decorate my home like i want, i love not being able to even get to my fucking water heater because its locked up from US - THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE DAMN TOWNHOME...

i love renting...NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB WAYNE!!!
My Husband turns 28 today...somehow im the one who got the day off (day off and still paid!!!) and he has to go into work! He did get good friday off though which helped lessen the blow of having to work on your birthday (which i pretty much refuse to EVERY year..i dont think ive ever worked on my birthday...ever...)  

Since he really doesnt care its his birthday im pretty much just going to make him a special dinner tonight and thats about it...birthdays are much lamer when your old!

my daily rant :

i need some money..anyone got some money i can borrow??!!! 

i want a house! WAAAAAA!!!  (im really crying here!!)

im in love..

with a few random things at the moment...

1 - EOS lip balm..its awesome..and its round which makes it even more awesome..and its in a cute round package which somehow makes me want to put it on every time i look at it!

2 - La Rochere Napoleon Bee glassware...picked up a tumbler at pottery barn (they only have the tall and short tumblers) and i loovveee it..so i did some searching online and you can get plates, bowls..etc..i want i want i want!

3 - purple eyeshadow..ive always loved wearing it to make my green eyes pop..and recently have been wearing it a lot, loves it!

4 - Vampire Diaries..hey i gotta watch something other than all my great 'reality' tv shows..so yeah, i picked a show about vampires to obsess about..even better! hah..

5 - Candy Baby Beauty Rush - body spray and drink lotion...if you like candy like me..then why not smell like it!  i smell like a walking vat of cotton candy..yummmmm!

jake passed the psych test!!!! (yes everyone..hes sane!!!) holy cow was that an intense moment watching him open that letter...thank god it was a 'you passed' and not a 'you failed' because i think he would have punched me in the face and then killed himself if he didnt pass it..ha..funny..but true..(its been a veerrrrryyy long road with this cop stuff..a loonngggg and not fun one..)

so now he has to set up the medical part..the last part..and then wait to be hired basically..

were pretty excited to say the least..now its just a waiting game like always..and were (or should i say I am) good at waiting!
