Poor Willy and his allergies..he hasnt been to happy lately..we had to resort to buying a 'cone' so he would stop scratching his face and eating his body! self mutilation at its best..he was almost pink from all the blood..not so cute..hes on some meds that make him thirsty which means at a moments notice we have to take him out so he can pee for two minutes straight! Weve had some fun times with these pills in the past..like not being home and your dog has to pee...get it?Well im home 'sick' thanks to killer back pain..last week it came on gradual...friday = bad..saturday = in tears...sunday = pissed off and in tears..monday = went to work and died...today = woke up and said hell no! so im trying to take it easy with tylenol, icy hot, and a heating pad (which obviously hasnt done much!)
So i tought i would post pics of my chairs i got to go with my dining room table. As of right now i cant find the before pic..but just do a search on pedestal tables in google images and youll see a million..it was just an average looking blondish/light brown solid wood pedestal table, nothing special..which i finally finished and it is now an espresso stained awesomeness! Ill post pics of it when i have the chairs done...
So the chairs - i got at our 'secret' place in sandwich, 70 bucks for 4 of em (the table was 50!! STEAL!)..i wanted the queen anne style so this is as close as i could get for cheap..and i was getting pretty desperate, so for 70 bucks they were perfect, and they had seats that i could recover, another plus! Cleaning them was a pain, and ripping the seat coverings off was down right disgusting (the garbage can pic doesnt to the disgustingness justice), they had like horse hair for padding in them! Now i love me some horse stuff but come on..ick! So theyre old..very old..and with some sanding, staining and new seat coverings im pretty sure they will look as rad as my table does..i think im going to paint a number on the back of each chair...hmm
Ok im off to slap some more icy hot on and sit with a heating pad while its 90 degrees outside..nice..i need a back transplant...
